Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team Dear Resident, Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening? As part of an operations week this week, we have visited local schools to deliver knife crime awareness inputs to young people focussing on the dangers and consequences of carrying knifes. We met with local faith leaders to discuss ongoing concerns around churchyards in Moseley, this meeting included the outreach worker and other partner agencies to identify longer-term solutions.Officers attended a local school to assist with wildlife related issues, offering advice and support to staff and pupils while helping to address concerns within the school environment. Targeted patrols have continued around Kings Heath, with officers providing a visible presence, engaging with local businesses and residents. We have also supported local Streetwatch patrols this week, continuing to work alongside our community volunteers who play a very important role in helping to keep the area safe and welcoming for everyone. We will continue working closely with the community and partner organisations to tackle local issues and provide reassurance across the neighbourhood. Our upcoming events Community Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Kings Heath Community Centre in Kings Heath on 23rd June from 11-1pm Please feel free to pop along and say Hi! Alternatively, if you have any concerns or issues, please email us at moseleyandkingsheath@westmidlands.police.uk and a member of the team will get back to you.
